| Unconventional
was thought up during the wee hours of the night while I was
writing away at my fantasy story, based around a fantasy
world that harbours...guess...fantasy people. Yeah, how
boring. There must be a million+ fantasy writers out there.
We have the Harry Potter/LoTR wanna-be writers all over.
Elves and Wizards, oh my!
In all truth, part of this
was thought up while I was scanning through my video/DVD
collection. Then I noticed my seeming attraction towards
unconventionality. I was enthralled by Un Chien Andalou (not
in a sick way of course), loved the fire in Gone with the
Wind (my guilty pleasure), and found Vin Diesel in Pitch
Black so goddamn...well...that's not the point. The point
is, each film has its passion within it that made it all the
more inspiring. In terms of television (which I have
severely limited), shows such as CSI captivated me and not
just the sheer dynamics of it. the two main characters, the
science geek, Grissom (William Petersen) and the
ex-stripper, Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger), have
such incredible chemistry! In terms of corny shows, I
watched Adventures of Sinbad, Nikita, and even Forever
Knight, religiously cause I love them. Now I'm onto Firefly
(thanks to Jessie Q) and hooked? I'm drooling for the movie
Serenity!
Unconventional also applies
to my writing and art. I'm an artist in the making, since my
lack of talent is slowly being chipped away. My maps of
Y'weryn show that. My writing is improving as well. I have a
story from grade 1...you can tell the improvement haha.
So, if you want to post
stuff here, what do you need? Well...my permission is all!
It cannot be pornographic...and not even that artsy stuff I
hear about...and if it needs an NC-17 writing warning, I
need to know!
